In-stock pool, spa, hot tub, heater, and fire pit orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. You'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information as soon as your order ships. We prioritize getting your equipment to you quickly so you can start enjoying your backyard oasis.

Transit time begins once your order has shipped. Delivery timelines vary depending on your destination, the carrier, and the shipping service you selected at checkout. You can track your package in real-time using your tracking number. For large items like pool heaters, hot tubs, and fire pits, we'll provide detailed tracking updates.

Your pool, spa, hot tub, or outdoor heating equipment arrives at your doorstep or curbside. Please inspect your shipment thoroughly upon arrival and note any visible damage before accepting delivery. This is especially important for delicate equipment like pool jets, heater components, and spa controls.

🎁 Smaller Items (Parcel Delivery)
Smaller pool and spa items like replacement filters, chemicals, jets, heater parts, and accessories are delivered via standard parcel carriers directly to your doorstep. You'll receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor your package's progress. Delivery typically takes 3-7 business days depending on your location.
📦 Oversized Items (Freight Delivery)
Large items like pool heaters, hot tubs, fire pits, outdoor heaters, and complete pool equipment systems ship via freight carrier with lift gate service and are delivered curbside. Free shipping on oversized items to the contiguous 48 United States. The driver is not responsible for moving items into your backyard, patio, or installation location. Please make arrangements in advance if assistance is required, or contact us for installer recommendations.

We partner with industry-leading carriers experienced in delivering pool heaters, hot tubs, fire pits, and other outdoor equipment to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition and ready for installation.
⚠️ Important: Inspect Before Signing
For freight deliveries of pool heaters, hot tubs, fire pits, and other equipment: Please inspect your shipment thoroughly before signing the delivery receipt. Signing without noting visible damage constitutes acceptance of the shipment in good condition.
If visible damage is present:
- Take clear photos of all sides of the pallet and the damaged product (especially important for pool heaters and spa equipment)
- Refuse the shipment or clearly note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing
- Notify us immediately at customerservice@aquaterrabackyard.com with photos and details
Tip: For pool heaters and hot tubs, inspect all connections, valves, and control panels for damage before the driver leaves.
Damage Claims & Resolution
📸 Parcel Shipment Damage or Errors
If a parcel shipment of pool parts, spa accessories, heater components, or other items arrives damaged or incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Please provide clear photos of:
- The shipping label
- Packaging and protective materials
- The damaged item (especially important for pool jets, heater parts, or spa controls)
We will review the claim and arrange for replacement or credit as appropriate. Please retain the product and packaging as we may require return shipment.
🔍 Concealed Damage
If concealed damage is discovered after delivery, you must notify us within 48 hours of receipt and retain all packaging materials.
After 48 hours from receipt, we are unable to file damage claims with the carrier on your behalf.
Special Delivery Situations
🏘️ Narrow Roads, Private Roads & Gated Communities
If you reside on a narrow road, private road, or within a gated community, please notify us in advance to ensure proper delivery accommodations for your pool heater, hot tub, fire pit, or other large equipment. Large freight items require adequate access and turning radius. Contact us at customerservice@aquaterrabackyard.com before placing your order so we can coordinate with the carrier.
🌴 Hawaii, Alaska & US Territories
Shipping pool heaters, hot tubs, fire pits, and other large outdoor equipment to Hawaii, Alaska, and U.S. territories requires prior approval. Additional shipping charges may apply. Orders placed without prior confirmation may be subject to cancellation or adjusted freight charges. Processing may be temporarily paused until shipping arrangements are confirmed.

Accurate Shipping Address Required

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete address information may be subject to additional shipping and redelivery charges.

Special Orders & Lead Times
Some pool heaters, hot tubs, fire pits, and specialty outdoor equipment may have extended lead times and are classified as special order or build-to-order. Estimated lead times will be displayed at checkout when applicable. Custom spa configurations and premium outdoor heaters may require additional time.
