Transit time begins once your order has shipped. Delivery timelines vary depending on your destination, the carrier, and the shipping service you selected at checkout. Smaller pool and spa items like replacement filters, chemicals, jets, heater parts, and accessories are delivered via standard parcel carriers directly to your doorstep. You'll receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor your package's progress. Delivery typically takes 3-7 business days depending on your location.

📦 Oversized Items (Freight Delivery)

Large items like pool heaters, hot tubs, fire pits, outdoor heaters, and complete pool equipment systems ship via freight carrier with lift gate service and are delivered curbside. Free shipping on oversized items to the contiguous 48 United States. The driver is not responsible for moving items into your backyard, patio, or installation location. Please make arrangements in advance if assistance is required, or contact us for installer recommendations.

For freight deliveries of pool heaters, hot tubs, fire pits, and other equipment: Please inspect your shipment thoroughly before signing the delivery receipt. Signing without noting visible damage constitutes acceptance of the shipment in good condition.

If visible damage is present:

  • Take clear photos of all sides of the pallet and the damaged product (especially important for pool heaters and spa equipment)
  • Refuse the shipment or clearly note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing
  • Notify us immediately at customerservice@aquaterrabackyard.com with photos and details

Tip: For pool heaters and hot tubs, inspect all connections, valves, and control panels for damage before the driver leaves.

Damage Claims & Resolution

📸 Parcel Shipment Damage or Errors

If a parcel shipment of pool parts, spa accessories, heater components, or other items arrives damaged or incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Please provide clear photos of:

  • The shipping label
  • Packaging and protective materials
  • The damaged item (especially important for pool jets, heater parts, or spa controls)

We will review the claim and arrange for replacement or credit as appropriate. Please retain the product and packaging as we may require return shipment.

🔍 Concealed Damage

If concealed damage is discovered after delivery, you must notify us within 48 hours of receipt and retain all packaging materials.

After 48 hours from receipt, we are unable to file damage claims with the carrier on your behalf.

If you reside on a narrow road, private road, or within a gated community, please notify us in advance to ensure proper delivery accommodations for your pool heater, hot tub, fire pit, or other large equipment. 🌴 Hawaii, Alaska & US Territories

Shipping pool heaters, hot tubs, fire pits, and other large outdoor equipment to Hawaii, Alaska, and U.S. territories requires prior approval. Additional shipping charges may apply. Orders placed without prior confirmation may be subject to cancellation or adjusted freight charges. Processing may be temporarily paused until shipping arrangements are confirmed.
